Sophia Akrami


Sophia Akrami is the President & CEO of Amber Personal Care. From the inception, it has been her mission to create a company that can attract talented and compassionate caregivers and staff. That is how the company has been able to provide the highest quality of services to its clients. Amber Personal Care has partnered with major senior living companies in Colorado and serves a wide range of clients across the State. Under Sophia’s leadership, the company has grown from a small agency to a major home care organization in Colorado. Amber Personal Care's long term goal is to provide the same kind of companionate and quality care to clients nationwide.


James O’Connor

Operation Manager

James has a background in Special Education and Social Services working with individuals with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities and later transitioned to work with individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries. James has previously been an instructor for Independence360 (an Adult Day Program) in East Hanover, NJ.  It is through his diverse background that he has developed the philosophy of "A Rising Tide Raises All Ships."

Ashley Olds

Assistant Office Manager

Ashley has a background in Early Childhood Education where she worked for many years in childcare centers In Minnesota. Before recently moving to Colorado, she worked as a Lead Teacher in a Montessori school for almost 8 years. While working there she got lots of exposure to working with children of multiple ages and helping out with administrative work. She truly enjoys helping people with anything and always has a smile on her face.


Rebekah Hernandez

Client Care Manager

Rebekah has a degree in music education and has taught in the United States, Thailand and Iraq. She also studied massage therapy in Denver and has worked as a massage therapist full time in spas, chiropractic offices and at sporting events as well as setting up in the multiple countries she lived in. Rebekah has a true passion for health and helping people especially through holistic measures. She enjoys many hobbies, with her beautiful family.

Eric Miller

Business Development Manager

Eric has a Military background within the U.S. Air Force as a security forces member & as an Executive Wing Chaplain Assistant. He has an Associates Degree of Science in Leadership and has previously been a project manager where he helped develop and plan various corporation project in the remodel of new company builds statewide. He managed and led diverse teams throughout the country exemplifying their business model that has represented his work ethic as well “Rising Above”. He has recently transitioned into healthcare working with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Hospice patients making him adept to be our business Development Manager for the Colorado Springs Area.

Carli Morss


Carli went to school for Network Systems Administration. While in school she started working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Special Needs. She has nearly 10 years under her belt in that field, working for schools, Registered Behavioral Therapy work with young children, day programs and volunteer work. Needless to say she is no stranger for taking care of others. She has been promoted to a supervisory role within the day program and has experience with scheduling, planning and working with each individual's team to best fit the client's needs. While working with these miraculous individuals, she got a grasp for what CARE truly means.

drew ewigleben

Client Care Coordinator

Drew is a direct support professional with over six years experience with children and adults that have physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities. While he received a degree in hotel & restaurant management and began his career as a guest services agent for a five-star resort, he later chose to follow his passion for providing care and support for others. He has garnered multiple certifications in caregiving including QMap (the administration of medication) and CPR/First Aid, as well as, becoming a Certified QBS Safety Care Trainer. While working at the day program for adults and kids with disabilities he worked his way up to Program Manager.

Farah Hadian

Client Care Coordinator

Farah has a background of over 35 years in Customer Service and Sales. She has traveled all over the United States and has experienced many countries abroad. She is fluent in the Farsi language. Her hobbies include hiking and volleyball but what she is most passionate about is making a difference in peoples' lives, especially the disabled and elderly.

betsy bengs

Client Care Coordinator

Betsy started young in cosmetology. She is still a licenced Cosmetologist. She started working in primary health clinincs, as well as chiropractic offices, and did that for 15+ years. Working in every inch of of the front and back office. She started in Home Health in 2018 where she is currently thriving as a Client Care Coordinator for Amber.
